Pool Deck Restore

Make your deck look new with our Pool Deck Restoration system, a simple process that does not require a major overhaul of your deck. It lasts equally as long as the slow, messy, expensive process of chipping off and reinstalling a new pool deck surface.

Has your pool deck seen better days?

We can help…

Does your deck qualify for a Restoration or is it in need of a Renovation?

Sharp Contracting has found that 90% of decks can simply be restored rather than renovated. It makes little sense to remove your cool deck surface to correct minor chipping, discoloration, and other deck problems. Especially considering that a restoration averages 1/3 of the cost of renovation.

Traditional Cool Deck (before 2001)

Apply cool deck to fresh concrete for a curring bond.

10-20 Years Discoloration & chipping or flaking.

Acrylic Lacing

Apply accrylic to cured concrete. Adhesive bond.

4-8 Years Discoloration & chipping or flaking.

Pool Deck Renovation System

A Pool Deck Renovation System is a much more extensive process and therefore cost much more to do. This process either removes or coats over the entire surface.
Expected life: 3-8 years.*

Damaged deck

Grind off deck surface or apply a base coat

Apply acrylic lacing

Repair / Seal with acrylic deck paint

*Acrylic lacing has a life expectancy of 3 to 8 years under normal conditions it begins to flake and chip. Moisture and sun exposure can greatly reduce the life expectancy. Likewise, low moisture and sun exposure can result in acrylic lacing lasting 10 years or more.
